This is a diptych that originated from freelance work I did for an acquaintance. I drew inspiration from De Humani Corporis Fabrica a set of books on human anatomy written by Andreas Vesalius, published in 1543. The books contain many meticulously hand-drawn illustrations of the human body. Two of those illustrations are part of the works you find here.
